What we keep

WhatWhy
Your user nameTo identify your account. It may be shown to other players in leagues.
Your email addressesTo sign you in, send sign-in and confirmation codes, and match your 49 Sports Games orders to your account.
Your passwordTo sign you in. It is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody can read it, including us.
Your orders from our storeOrder number, email, what you bought, the date and whether it was refunded, so the games and seasons you bought unlock here.
What you can play, and whyPurchases, codes you've redeemed, and anything we've given you, with a note.
Your saved gamesSo you can carry on from another device. Each save records which device and game version it came from, to help resolve conflicts and problems.
Refund requests and messagesSo we can answer them.
Basic technical recordsOur hosting and database providers keep short-lived logs (such as IP address and time of sign-in) for security and to fix faults.

We don't use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we don't sell or share your data for marketing. Your browser stores your sign-in and a copy of your saved games on your device so the site works offline; that's all it stores.

Payments happen in our Shopify store, never on this site. The store has its own privacy policy, and we never see your card details.

Why we're allowed to

Under the GDPR and similar laws, we use your data because we need it to provide what you bought and the account you signed up for (contract), and for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and answering support requests. Order records are also kept because tax and accounting law requires it.

Who helps run the site

They process data only to provide their service to us. Some of it is stored and processed in the United States; these providers use the safeguards the law requires for international transfers (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, and you can object to how it's used or ask us to limit it. Most of this you can do yourself:

For anything else, contact . We'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is meant for people aged 16 and over. Younger players should use the site with a parent's or guardian's permission and help.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for big changes, tell you when you sign in.
